Author Studio is the creation hub for BlinkLearn content creators, the one place to build, manage, and publish your courses, classrooms, and meditations.
Access it from the left sidebar under Teach → Author Studio.
Overview
The Author Studio home page shows all your content in one grid. Use the filter tabs at the top to narrow by type:

| Classrooms | Live, cohort-based learning experiences with sections and lessons |
| Courses | Self-paced, lesson-by-lesson courses |
| Meditations | Guided audio experiences (coming soon) |
Each card shows the content type, publication status (Draft, Published, or Archived), your co-authors, the number of sections and lessons, and any AI-powered actions available, such as generating missing lesson notes.
Creating content
Click + Create in the top-right corner to choose a content type:

Inside a classroom or course
Clicking any card opens the content editor. It shows the cover image, publication status, full title, all co-authors, and a summary of sections and lessons.
The editing workspace has up to three tabs. Not all tabs are available for every content type:

Lessons
The Content tab lists your lessons grouped by section. Each lesson card shows:
- Lesson number and thumbnail
- Lesson title and duration
- The teacher who recorded it
- AI generation status: Summary ready, Cleaned lesson, Student notes ready
Click + Add lesson to append a new lesson to any section.
Preview
Use the Preview button (top-right) to see the learner view of your content before publishing.
Publishing
Each piece of content can be in one of three states:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | In progress, not visible to learners |
| Published | Live and accessible to enrolled learners |
| Archived | Removed from active view; data is retained |
Use the Details panel (accessible via the Details button on any content page) to update the title, description, cover image, co-authors, and other metadata before publishing.
