Issues with Luna not responding, giving generic answers, or behaving unexpectedly — find the fix below.
Luna is not responding or Chat is frozen
- Refresh the page and try sending your message again.
- If the page loads but Luna does not reply after 30 seconds, she may be processing a complex request. Wait briefly then retry.
- If Chat consistently fails to load, try a different browser or clear your browser cache.
- Check your internet connection — Luna requires a stable connection to respond.
Luna's responses feel generic or unhelpful
Luna's quality improves significantly with more data. If her responses seem generic:
- Upload a lab report — without bloodwork, Luna has limited health context
- Log more meals — meal history gives Luna pattern data
- Chat more specifically — instead of "how am I doing?", try "my glucose is elevated — what meals might be contributing?"
Also check that Luna's personality is configured as intended — a reset personality (from Danger Zone in My AI) returns her to archetype defaults, which may feel different.
Luna is using the wrong personality or name
If Luna's name or tone changed unexpectedly:
- Go to My AI in the sidebar.
- Check the Profile tab — confirm the companion name is set as intended.
- Check the Personality tab — confirm the archetype and custom instructions are correct.
- If you accidentally tapped Reset entire personality, all custom settings were removed. You will need to reconfigure them.
A skill is not working
- Go to Skills in the sidebar and confirm the skill is listed and enabled.
- Try invoking the skill directly from the Skills panel in Chat rather than relying on Luna to trigger it automatically.
- If a specific skill shows an error, it may be temporarily unavailable. Try again in a few minutes.
Luna keeps referencing something I told her to forget
Ask Luna directly in Chat: "Please remove the memory about [topic]." She will acknowledge the deletion. If the memory reappears, go to Memories in the sidebar, find the entry, and ask Luna again with the exact wording from the memory.
Luna is not connecting my meals to my biomarkers
This connection requires both a lab report and meal logs to be present. If you have both:
- Confirm your lab report status is Analyzed (not just Saved) in Lab reports.
- Check the Body view — if biomarkers are showing as Missing, the report may not have parsed fully. See Lab Report Issues.
