What happens if I can’t make it to some Classroom Sessions or Peer Coaching Labs?
If for some reason you are unable to attend the weekly Q&A session, you can catch up by watching the recordings (The Q&A recordings will be uploaded to your Circle community)
We encourage you to join the weekly Coaching Labs – that are NOT recorded, as the majority of the benefit is gained by attending live. You can also opt to do your coaching hours with external clients, and track your coaching time in your tracking sheet.
What happens if I fail my assessments? Can I retake them?
Yes, you can take the test as many times as you want during the course of the certification period of 4 months. If you are unable to complete the tests during the 4-month certification period, you may write in to certification@mindvalley.com to apply for a grace period to complete the tests up to 12 months after your enrolment date.
What if something comes up and I need to take a break from completing the Certification. Can I “freeze” my learning journey, and for how long?
The program duration is 4-months and it’s best done together through the live sessions with your peers. However, if something comes up, you may pause your learning journey and come back to complete the program at your own pace. This means you can learn from the recordings of live calls and pre-recorded sessions. Then, conduct your practice sessions with your peers and submit the required tests within 12 months of your enrollment date to complete your Certification.
I have already completed some coaching courses with Mindvalley Coach. Could I use my Certificate of Completion to contribute towards this certification?
No. A completion certificate from a Mindvalley Coach quest is not the same as this certification.
While our courses are designed to train you in a specific coaching skill, this certification will give you a holistic understanding of all coaching competencies and frameworks needed for you to become an effective business coach. It is a deep dive into mastering all the tools in your coaching toolkit in a specific period of time.
Where do I find my Certificates of the Certification?
After you pass each assessment, you will receive a Certificate of Completion by e-mail.
Please keep that handy. You will need to upload that at the end of your 4-month certification to receive the final certificate. For any issue, please contact the student support at certification@mindvalley.com
Are the live sessions recorded? How many do I need to attend for graduation?
The Live Q&A Calls are recorded each week, but the Coaching labs will not be recorded.
To graduate you'll have to attend at least 80% of all live classes, or if you can't attend, watch the recordings. All recordings are in your intro section under 'Recorded Live Calls'. It is highly recommended to attend the Coaching Labs, where you can practice with your peers and get your practice hours. You can find the exercise we use for practice in our coaching labs at the end of each week. You can use these exercises to practice coaching with others.
What can I do if I fall behind?
We recommend you set aside extra time each week to catch up with your content. If you set aside 1-2 extra hours per week, you will be able to slowly catch up! But make sure you keep attending your regular classes.

How can I count my coaching practice hours needed for graduation?
Inside your weekly Coaching Labs: You count all of the time you are inside a breakout room in your Peer coaching lab, whether you are the coach, client or observer. The practice time inside the breakout rooms is around 30 minutes per Coaching Lab. Outside your Coaching Labs: You count all of the time that you are coaching peers or external clients (only when you are the coach). You can coach for as long as you want.
*Remember that these practice hours are KEY for you to become the best coach you can be. The more practice you do, the better it will be for you, your confidence, and your career as a coach!
What happens if I don’t receive my certificate via email?
If you didn't receive your completion certificate via email despite having completed the assessment successfully the only thing that could have happened is that you entered the wrong email address. In order to receive your certificate, you must enter the same email address which you used to purchase the Certification program. Our system checks whether the email address you have entered has access to the program and then if you've passed, it sends you your certificate automatically. Please try doing the assessment once again. If you still have challenges, please send an e-mail to certification@mindvalley.com
My name on the Certificate is wrong, what can I do?
To get the correct name on your certificate you must access your profile on mindvalley.com. Once you log in click on the top right hand corner on the round image / letter. Click on 'profile' and edit your name in your profile. Then go and do the assessment once more. Our system automatically pulls your name from your Mindvalley account. If you still have challenges, please send an e-mail to certification@mindvalley.com
Can I coach my external clients in my native language? Does that count toward graduation?
Yes, all of the time that you are coaching any client in any language counts. Please just track your time in your tracking sheet

Will I receive an internationally recognized certificate when I complete the program?
You will be a Mindvalley Certified Coach. Mindvalley is well-known globally as a Personal Growth company, and it is the leading coaching platform in the world. So you’ll have no problems with credibility and recognition, anywhere in the world. You can also opt to be accredited by external Accreditation bodies, which vary depending on your certification. You can find out more information on how to do so inside your introduction section.Please, note that the Accreditation won't be automatic, you will need to apply to these entities, according to their requirements.

What are the benefits of becoming a CBC?
Other than gaining the skills to coach businesses, being a certified business coach will add legitimacy to your practice and boost your bottom line.As an active alumni member, you will also be showcased on the Mindvalley Coach website You will also gain CCE units from the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
What can I potentially earn as a CBC?
The Harvard Business Review (2009) reported that business coaches earn an average of $500/hour, with a range of $200-3,500 per hour. This indicates what people are willing to pay for business coaching and what you could potentially earn as a certified business coach. This means you could potentially recover your investment in this certification within the first few months of your business coaching journey - only if you are willing to do the work!
Will we have any playbooks/ templates on actual coaching aspects such as what clients usually want coaching on such as sales, marketing, operations, training, team hiring ...etc.
Yes and yes. The unique thing about Certified Business Coach is it uses First Principle Coaching, which means we show you how to develop your own systems by building upon foundational truths and facts. It mixes coaching with consulting, which means we have many templates for providing your clients with direct solutions already developed for you.

Is Certified Life Coach for me if I’m a business coach, health coach, or a coach in any other niche or field?
Yes, absolutely! In fact, this program is designed to show you how to become a life coach even if you know nothing about it right now. If you’re already a coach in a different niche, you can use this to your advantage and combine your experience with all the processes and tools you’ll learn in Certified Life Coach. The first month of your journey is devoted to training and preparing you in the fundamentals of masterful life coaching which is also applicable to other types of coaching practices.
What are the benefits of becoming a Certified Life Coach?
Other than gaining the skills of a life coach, you will also become a trainer on the 6-Phase meditation developed by Vishen Lakhiani
